Payroll Accountant

Kforce is seeking a Payroll Accountant in San Francisco, California (CA) for one of our premier client. As a Payroll Accountant, you will be responsible for payroll general ledger processing including analysis and journal entries.

Specific Responsibilities:

Processing and distribution of labor reports
Back-up functions in preparation of multi-state payroll (high volume)
Employee payroll audits
Garnishment processing
Work effectively with other departments

The successful Payroll Accountant applicant will possess experience with ADP.

Additional Requirements:

A Bachelor's degree is preferred
CPP designation is preferred
Garnishment processing experience
Ability to work in a team environment
PeopleSoft payroll experience is a plus
Multi-state processing
Intermediate MS Excel proficiency
Ability to work effectively with other departments
