We are seeking a senior hands-on Security Engineer to design and implement IT security framework for the enterprise. This individual will work with business leaders and lead all phases from vision – delivery. They will define tactical and strategic security initiatives, build security roadmap, evaluate and prototype solutions and set standards for IT security.Ideal candidate will have broad technical skills and experience in areas of identity and access management, network security and data loss prevention.
Primary Responsibilities: Perform qualitative and quantitative risk assessments and work with business leaders to define business risk appetite.Build security policy, procedures, standards, guidelines and roadmap.Translate strategic business plan into tactical and strategic IT security initiatives.Design technical, operational and organizational controls to maintain acceptable security posture for the organization.Work with data, server, storage, network and application team to design IT solutions that comply with internal, customer and federal security (ITAR, EAR, SOX, PCI) requirements.Build IT solutions to integrate our vendors, partners, customers and joint ventures.Serve as technical lead during security incident investigationsMaintain knowledge of industry trends and best practices.Maintain operational support on existing security controlsRequirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline.10+ year’s experience in Information SecurityCISSP certification or ability to get one in first 6 months of employment.Experience leading large teams in global corporations.Industry - Aerospace and Defense, manufacturing or finance industry experience preferred.Technical Skills:
