If you are a Principal Engineer with transmission valve experience, please read on!

We are a leading supplier of electrohydraulic and hydraulic controls for the automotive industry. We are launching a new business line and need a technical expert in transmission valves to lead design and manufacturing.

What you'll be doing:

- technical liaison with customers: gather specifications, testing information (performance and verification), product requests, etc.
- design control for valve components: materials, specs, ensure drawings match the analytics and are correlated back to the test data
- testing: work with engineering techs on test stand builds, verify performance and test data
- prototype builds: multiple runs before production lines are created. Very hands on the 1st few runs and then the techs can manage.
- work with quality, manufacturing, production support and other areas

What you need for this position:

- BS in engineering
- Extensive experience in transmission valves
- Design/Product Launch
