The successful candidate will play a role of Master Data and BI expert working with various IT groups and multiple business functions across all geographies. Duties will include driving improvements to master data quality and synchronization and support for BI SMEs in the Business functions.. Additional duties will include coordinating with resources required from various business functions and IT groups to implement solutions. The candidate will be enthusiastic and is someone who looks forward to new challenges and an expanding role in a growing organization.
Master Data
Participate in various projects to identify opportunities for master data improvements and drive initiatives to implement changesWork with the Data Governance team to define and enforce policies, standards, and processesProvide IT support to Master Data Management TeamHelp to define and document new and improve existing set of processes, policies, standards and tools that consistently defines and manages the “master data”.Proactively identify processes for the most efficient ongoing collection of the data, improvements to data quality and increased data synchronization.Business Intelligence
Participate in the initiatives to stand up self-help reporting and analytics across various business function. Educate & train user community on the potential uses of the business intelligence systemMeet with customer business and technical leaders to identify and scope the business opportunities, document and vet business requirements, identify effective reporting techniques, identify the best data sources for reach report field, identify risks and constraints, and design reporting formats.Creation of the functional BI strategy and the IT roadmap.Work closely with IT peers to ensure understanding of the various data models and solutions that may need to be developed to complete the projectsPrimes reporting priorities and strategy with various business functionsProvide guidance and recommendation on BI reporting packagesHelp to define new and improve existing set of processes, policies, standards and tools that improves BI.Document rules and processes for business intelligence or IT reports, dashboards, change requests, projects, or other outputs; Maintain library of model documents, templates, or other reusable knowledgeManage BI projects when neededDeveloping and testing detailed functional designs for Business Intelligence and/or Data Management & Architecture solutionsProvides input and drive to the BI technical team for the creation of new subject areas, key reports and key dashboards and the deployment of new capabilityPerform and adopt best practices in testing and reporting: usability, data integrity, test design, analysis, validation, and documentation.Create and maintain dashboards and reports when needed.Required Skills

Experience Required
Bachelor’s Degree in either Computer Science or Information Technology (or Business gregree equivalent) required Over 10 years of IT or Business experienceExperience with master data managementHyperion IR, OBIEE, OBIA modules and various MS tools and advantage..Database concept, building efficient data modelsExperience designing and creation of dashboards and reportsTechnical and functional expertise with various Oracle modules including supply chain, finance and HR.Understands various business processes (supply chain, finance etc) very well.
