If you are an IT Manager or Systems Architect on Linux with Python or Ruby programming experience and experience leading Systems and Operations teams, please read on!

We are a leading global media outlet in NYC. Our brand is among strongest in media and interactive! We are seeking a Systems Architect, IT Manager, Operations Leaders or DevOps Expert with great experience in automation and cloud based systems. Ideally, you will know either python or ruby programming as well or at least be able to be hands on your role as needed.

This is a senior level position so experience with managing is a big plus. Ideal candidates will have experience in a startup type environment and not be a meeting manager.

What you need for this position:

- 7+ years of experience in a high traffic or high availability web environment
- Experience as a Linux Administrator
- Experience with leading IT Systems Architecture and Teams
- Experience with AWS - Amazon Web services
- Experience with automation and Python or Ruby Programming
- Experience managing production environments as an administrator, systems engineer or software developer
- Bachelor's Degree from a top 20 university in whatever country you attended school is a plus

What you'll be doing:

- Providing systems level support, administration and development to production teams as an IT Manager and Systems Architect
- Working on leading edge cloud technologies
- Working at a top 25 Web Company
